Accommodation"Hof van Wageningen"- moderate price and at the conference venue - Hof van Wageningen, Hotel and Conference Centre (former WICC) contains two three star hotels (both in the centre of Wageningen) with a total of 216 rooms. The WIR hotel is located only 250m away from the Hof van Wageningen. The central position of the WICC (close to the A12, A15 and A50 main roads) makes it very easy to reach. There is also a bus stop 250 m away. We have a free private parking area for our guests. For both long and short term visits, the two hotels of the Hof van Wageningen have excellent facilities. All rooms have their own private bathroom facilities, telephone, colour TV and safe. The rooms in the WIR Hotel are more spacious and have their own coffee and tea facilities but other facilities (bars, restaurants and lounges) are in the Hof van Wageningen Hotel at a distance of a 5 minutes walk. Please note: If you want to book a room for the CGN conference in hotel "Hof van Wageningen" you need to send an email to the hotel (info@hofvanwageningen.nl) referring to the CGN conference, preferably using this form. Do not book a room via the "Hof van Wageningen" website, since it blocked the rooms for the connference and might appear completely booked.

Lawickse Allee 9 "Hotel de Wereld" - luxury at walking distance - Hotel de Wereld in Wageningen is located in the old centre of this small student town. Hotel de Wereld Wageningen reopened in the spring of 2004 and resumed its former function of a hotel. In the past 'De Wereld' has known many different designations, the most impressive of which is that it was the backdrop for the signing of the German surrender on May 5, 1945. The hotel has been completely renovated and the modern and stylish interior now contrasts nicely with the building's historic character. The refreshing no-nonsense approach of the staff will make you feel right at home in this contemporary hotel. Hotel De Wereld can also serve as the perfect backdrop for parties and receptions, or for business meetings. 
The spacious and comfortable rooms are decorated in contemporary style and each have a pleasant view of the historic centre of Wageningen. The rooms are equipped with al kinds of facilities, such as a television, telephone, internet connection, and an Espresso machine. All rooms have a private shower and toilet and are accessible by elevator. Travel to WageningenThe conference venue and all recommended accommodation is within walking distance from each other. The description below is for "the Hof van Wageningen", the venue of the meeting and one of the accomodations, but all other accommodations are within a few hundred metres.From Schiphol (airport) to Ede-Wageningen (train station) Once you are at Schiphol you first need to take care of the last part of the journey. You will need a trainticket from Schiphol to Ede-Wageningen. You can purchase it from one of the yellow vending machines or from the counter of the NS (the Dutch Railways). For later, you will also need a bus ticket (called a "strippenkaart"). You can buy these tickets at shops called "Bruna" or "AKO" or in the bus (but that is more expensive). Now you just need to find the right train. The large blue screens tell you how to get to all larger train stations (including Ede-Wageningen) and where your train leaves. The yellow signs also indicate departures of trains and are sorted on destionation first. If you find yourself not sure what to do, or where to go, don't hesitate to ask the NS service staff for help. To get to Wageningen the fastest you want to get an Intercity service calling at Ede-Wageningen. The intercity service heading for Nijmegen will do so. From Ede-Wageningen (trainstation) to Ede-Wageningen Zuid (busstop) The fastest bus to Wageningen is the Valleilijn. Unlike all other buses, this bus does not stop at the main bus station on the north side of the station. The Valleilijn will stop at the south side of the station. You can find this bus stop by walking down the stairs towards the exit. When you are down the stairs you have to go left and back up the stairs (In order to prevent terrible back pains from carrying your luggage: you can use the alternative elevator and sloped paths as well). You can find the bus stop around the corner on the left. From Ede-Wageningen Zuid (busstop) to Wageningen (busstation) Remember the "strippenkaart" you just bought at the airport? You can use this card here as well to get on board line 88 to Wageningen Bus station. The bus station is the last stop of the bus. From the bus station to "the Hof van Wageningen" is just a walk of a few hundred meters to the west along the main road.
